Train Ethernet TRDP Process Data Acquisition Scheme

Train Ethernet communication mainly uses TRDP protocol. Some train application systems need to collect process data of multiple devices on the network.

 

The conventional scheme is implemented by TRDP network card, but it has the following defects:

    ●  TRDP network card can support limited Comid

    ●  The PD data of TRDP is often sent through multicast, and the number of multicasts that TRDP network card can support is limited

 

For this application scenario, Yacer's TRDP communication products have introduced the TRDP capture function, which has the following features:

    ●  It can receive data of all multicast addresses on the network

    ●  It can receive all TRDP process data on the network

    ●  The configuration is simple. It only needs to set the TRDP working mode as the acquisition mode, and does not need to configure the Comid and multicast address one by one.
