Some train application systems need to collect the process data of multiple devices on the MVB bus.
The conventional scheme is implemented by MVB slave card, but it has the following defects:
● The slave card itself will occupy an MVB device address, which may conflict with other device addresses on the bus
● the number of PDs that the slave card can support is limited
For this application scenario, Yacer's MVB communication products have introduced the MVB acquisition function, which has the following features:
● Read-only mode, which will not send any data to the MVB bus to avoid interference with the MVB bus
● It can acquisition and receive all the PD data on the MVB bus
● Simple configuration, only need to set the MVB working mode as the acquisition mode, no need to configure PD port number one by one
The MVB process data collected by Yacer’s MVB communication products can be sent to the host computer through Ethernet, serial port or CAN port as needed.
